Incumbent President Ranil Wickremesinghe will definitely contest for Presidency, UNP Deputy Leader Ruwan Wijewardene declared today.

Wijewardene made this announcement at the UNP District convention in Galle.

"The people seem to be having doubts on President Wickremesinghe's candidacy. One should not hold on to doubts as Ranil Wickremesinghe will contest for presidency," Wijewardene said.
