Cannon fodder for the govt. This is another one of those educated proven crooks we had in parliament. Sri Lanka has had many educated names in the parliament who miserably failed us. Hope the disciplined NPP internal mechanisms will keep their professors, doctors lawyers and teachers who have all come to politics to earn much less than what they were earning in normal life also under surveillance to prevent them also ending up like this man a qualified accountant by profession.

Members of the UNP will hurriedly meet at 5:00 pm today to discuss possible disciplinary action against senior member Ravi Karunanayake, who has allegedly self-appointed himself to the national list as Senior sources allege that Karunanayake’s secretary sent a letter to the Election Commission (EC), nominating Karunanayake for the national list without the UNP's consent. What skullduggery.
