Stay order to bar Deshabandu from functioning as IGP illegal: PM
Parliament, July 26 (Daily Mirror) - The stay order issued by the Supreme Court preventing Deshabandu Tennakoon from functioning as the IGP is illegal, Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena told Parliament today.
"Tennekoon still functions as the IGP," he said.

He said this hiding in parliament. This fellow should be asked to come to SC and ask him about it. So that he will have to tell that again. This is the only way to take such individuals hiding under parliament privileges and send such fellows behind bars. Also sc can arrest and send the badu behind bars if he still functions without listing to sc. The legal team who took this case to sc should keep an eye on badu and these cunning parliamentary members from ruling party. Take them also to court and teach a good lesson.

How can this crooked Prime Minister claim that a decision of the highest court of Sri Lanka is illegal? This scambag has therefore lost his right to continue as Prime Minister. The request from him to ignore the court decision is a crime and a betrayal of the democratic foundations of Sri Lanka and thus of its people. Shame on you.

Dinesh is s good for nothing bloke. Unfit to be PM. People should not vote for this guy and other MPs who are old n should stay at home n look after their grand children. He is using the parliament privilege to utter foolish statements. When Pujith ( former IGP) was sent on leave in view of the Esater Sunday bomb blast, the retired IGP wickremaratna was appointed and if that was the case why Deshabandu is allowed to stay on when Supreme Court has issued a judgement against him. Its obvious that Ranil and governing party want him to at a time when the election is due. Its a shame that some of our parliamentarians cannot understand the laws of the country. By adhering to such unlawful tactics Ranil will lose the election.

Hi is not a joker but a gerandiya. I challenge the speaker and the pm to say it at a press conference. The IGP is there for their dirty work hoping they'll have it easy going at the P Elections. The lawyers collective should go to court against the PM and the Speaker.
