Will not use state resources for election campaign: Lal Kantha
Colombo, October 10 (Daily Mirror)- The National People's Power (NPP) government will not use state resources for the general election and that they will show it in practice this time, NPP member Lal Kantha said today.
"We will act exemplarily in all our political activities and election activities.We will not use state resources for election campaign. We will show it in practice this time," he said responding to a question after submitting nomination for the Kandy District.
Lal kantha said the NPP is not required to launch a massive election campaign as they launched a succesful campaign for the presidential election.
"We have no need to laucnh a massive election campaign. We launched a sucesful election campiagn for the presidential election. People who did not vote us in the presidential election are also joining us after the presidential election victory and due to the progressive activities we carried out after the victory. All parties like SLFP and UNP have broken apart. We have no one to compete with. Our victory is certain," he said.
