Reports on toxic Thriposha false: Keheliya
Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella today refuted reports that toxic Thriposha stock was being distributed.
He told Parliament that there were reports that thriposha stock contained toxic called Aflatoxin and that it was baseless.
The Minister was responding to a question raised by SJB MP Rohini Kumari Kaviratne, who was said quoting media reports that some toxic thriposha distributed were withdrawn.
The Minister said explanations have been called from President of the PHI Union Upul Rohana who had said that so called toxic thriposha stocks were being withdrawn, asking him to explain on scientific evidence avaible to prove that. (Ajith Siriwardana and Yohan Perera)
