SLFP ready to support Sajith, if he accepts Premiership: Dayasiri
Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) was ready to support if Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa was willing to accept the Premiership and form a government, SLFP General Secretary Dayasiri Jayasekara said today.
He said Mr. Premadasa should take the responsibility immediately and take steps to stabilise the country without claiming that he would not accept the primiership untill the President resigns.
He said if the President also resign at this juncture, the country would lead to anarchy.
