In her usual style, Prithi organised a fantastic evening. Celebrating their Ruby Anniversary of love and togetherness it was nothing but a night to remember. The Victoria Room at the Kingsbury was decorated with great taste. There were delicious canapes and unlimited good beverages. It is obvious that there is a special rapport between the Kingsbury and Prithi as the dinners served on every occasion she has hosted at the venue have been super delicious. The Band in attendance was Misty.
They kept everybody swinging the night through. General Shavendra and Prithi’s daughter, Sheranthi, toasted Ratana and Prithi. This was followed by the many wonderful messages forwarded from their many close friends living overseas and could not make it to Colombo.
Prithi looked her glamourous self in a deep green off the shoulder gown and Ratana was in great humour. Congratulations to the both of you and may you two be blessed with many more years of happiness.
To sum up what a wonderful couple Prithi and Ratna are, below is what their very dear friend Ramona Nizar who lives in Sydney had to say:
"What a glorious landmark you both have reached today!"
"To celebrate a Ruby Anniversary is rare. But rarer still is to share 40 years of mutual love, dedication, faithfulness, and commitment as a couple. It is as distinctive as having a flawless 40 carat Diamond. In a world where relationships are inconsistent as fleeting mists, the bond you both share is as abiding, unique, and steadfast as the North Star - a blessing that can only be sent from God above."
"Although circumstances beyond my control have prevented me from being present to enjoy this wonderful celebration of lasting love, I will be there in spirit shaking my
booty to the tune of ‘Sumihiri Paney.’"
"From the very bottom of my heart, I wish you both many more years of blissful togetherness, love, and harmony. May God almighty shower his blessings upon your union that has withstood the test of time and manifold challenges that surely must have come your way. I wish you both long and healthy lives and pray that you will continue to flourish and prosper in everything you do."
