AIA Encourages Eco-friendly practices with its industry first roof-top model garden!

As a company committed to helping Sri Lankans live healthier, longer, better lives, AIA Insurance has a strong focus on sustainability initiatives that leave a lasting positive impact on the environment and community alike. As part of this commitment, AIA launched an industry-first Model Garden Project on the roof top of the AIA Tower, Head Office. The garden includes fresh organic produce grown using different planting methodologies. This eco-friendly initiative intends to inspire and motivate employees and customers to start their own home gardening efforts. As much as this initiative promotes home gardening during the current economic crisis it encourages environmentally conscious living. AIA’s rooftop garden was opened by Regional Chief Executive Tan Hak Leh, Group HR Business Partner Tricia Ham and AIA Sri Lanka’s CEO Chathuri Munaweera.
