Get ready for an unforgettable evening of musical magic at Bishop’s College!  The Bishop’s College Auditorium is set to transform into a vibrant hub of harmony and celebration this October, as Bishop’s College, Colombo, proudly launches its new Performance Choir with a sensational concert that promises to be the highlight of the year. And what better way to mark this occasion than with a dazzling showcase that coincides with Children’s Day. 

For the first time in a decade, the Bishop’s College stage will host a choral concert, making this event a momentous occasion for the school community. The concert will introduce the newly formed choir, a dynamic and innovative ensemble designed to enrich the school’s choral culture and spotlight the incredible talent of its students. 

Under the evocative theme “Voce Omnibus” – Latin for “Voice to All” – this choir is more than just a choral group; it’s a platform for students to express their individuality and showcase their unique vocal strengths. The choir’s formation is a significant step towards diversifying musical offerings, providing students the opportunity to sing in genres that resonate with their voices and personal styles. From classical pieces to contemporary hits, the performance will reflect a rich tapestry of musical expressions, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy. An ingenious initiative by the Vocal  Coach and Choir Director, the wonderfully talented singer/actor, Dmitri Gunatilake – an alum of Bishop’s College herself.
