Excel World Re-launches Snow World

Amidst much snow flurry and wintry fun, Excel World recently brought back its all-time favourite Snow World after a three-year hiatus. At the exclusive media-only launch on the 12th of December at Excel World, T.B. Jayah Mawatha, the icy space was re-opened to the public after the addition of newly enhanced features in order to provide a Santa-inspired North Pole experience.

The re-launch was done in collaboration with principal sponsor, Pepsi Co., and with the main media sponsor Voice of Asia Network, leading media figures, Excel Restaurants and Browns Group officials. The event itself was curated specially with a frosty theme in mind; from the lighting of an ice-lamp instead of the traditional lamp, a chill-inducing performance by all-female drum ensemble Tuuryaa, snow-inspired cocktails for all and more.

Snow World’s uniqueness lies in it being the only venue in Sri Lanka that offers a snowflake-filled encounter to visitors of all ages who have never experienced snow before.

The space is now open to the public from the 13th-31st of December from 5-10pm for some frosty, festive fun. In addition to this, Excel World will host a “Festive Carnival”
