8th South China Sea Buddhism Roundtable kicks off at BMICH

The 8th South China Sea Buddhism Roundtable discussion kicked off at the BMICH yesterday (12), under the auspices of Chief Incumbent of the Gangaramaya Temple Venerable Galboda Gnanissara Thera and Venerable Master Yin Shun of China. The event attracting over 400 foreign dignitaries was also attended by former Presidents Mahinda Rajapaksa, Maithripala Sirisena and Gotabaya Rajapaksa. Chinese Ambassador Qi Zhenhong also paid a special tribute to the Deputy Incumbent of the Gangaramaya Temple Ven. Dr Kirinde Assaji Thera during the event.
