It was followed by the day procession that marked the end of the Esala festival in Kandy parading the streets yesterday afternoon. The casket of relics was taken in procession by the Sri Dalada Maligawa tusker “Sinharaja” flanked by tusker Miyanraja and Kelaniya Rajamaha Vihara tusker Kandula to Gedige Rajamaha Vihara in Asgiriiya.
