Ahead of the Presidential Election, some candidates have asked for bizarre demands from law enforcement authorities, some of which have been rejected while some are being mulled.  

According to sources, a presidential candidate has requested a sniper for his security, which has been declined, given the zero threats to the particular candidate.   

Further, another candidate who does not live with his wife has requested security protection citing alleged threats from his wife.

The government recently appointed a special committee to ensure the security of former presidents and presidential candidates during the upcoming election period.
