The Pakistan National Team led by Babar Azam arrived in Sri Lanka this morning to take part in the two-match test series which will begin on July 16th, 2023, at the GICS, Galle. The second test match will commence at the SSC, Colombo, on July 24th. The test series is a part of the ICC World Test Championship 2023–25 cycle.

The much looked forward to schools rugby tournament, the Dialog Schools Rugby League, was launched at the BMICH Sapphire Banquet Hall recently in the presence of the officials of the Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Association, the officials of Dialog Axiata PLC, the main sponsor of the tournament, and the captains of the participating teams.
In the first semi-final between NCC and Moors SC played in the morning session, which was curtailed to 13 overs due to rain, NCC coasted to a comfortable seven-wicket victory which came on the back of two blistering unbeaten knocks by Niroshan Dickwella and Sahan Arachchige.
