Members of the Buddhist Brotherhood Association of Royal College get ready to distribute 500 bags of dry rations on Vesak Full Moon Poya Day 

The Buddhist Brotherhood Association of Royal College on Vesak Full Moon Poya Day distributed 500 bags of dry rations, each worth Rs.6000, among the lower income families in Colombo. 

The programme was co-sponsored by the Most Venerable Butewatte Sri Saranankara Nayaka Maha Thera, the founder of Maha Karuna Buddhist Society and Chief High Priest Judiciary of Malaysia. The Buddhist Brotherhood Association’s Chief Advisor, Ven. Gavaragiriye Premarathne Thera, Royal College Vice Principal Mr. Gunatilaka and the students of the Buddhist Brotherhood Association participated at the event.
