The China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation (CFPA) distributed 1000 food parcels amongst the following schools with the assistance of the Sri Lanka China Society (SLCS).

The schools that benefitted through this programme are Kotahena Central College, All Nassar Vidyalaya and Kotahena Junior Vidyalaya. 

Qi Zhenhong, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Sri Lanka, was chief guest at the function. This programme was coordinated by CFPA Director MS Zou Zhiqiang.
