Therapeutic Massage System is a revolutionary new massage system, where tradition meets innovation in the realm of wellness and healing and this unique massage technique blends centuries-old Sri Lankan traditions with modern therapeutic principles to offer a truly transformative experience.
Every part of the body is controlled by nerves and every one of these nerves connects directly or indirectly with the spine. This is because each segment of spinal nerves corresponds to specific dermatomes and myotomes. Accordingly, they influence conditions can follow a pressure o or interference with the nerves. The cervical spinal nerves connect with the head, neck, arms, shoulders and parts of the chest, helping in conditions like eye related disorders, sinus troubles, throat conditions. The thoracic spinal nerves supply sensation and control to the chest, upper back, and parts of the abdomen thereby aiding in stomach troubles and functional heart conditions amongst many other conditions. The lumbar and sacral spinal nerves connect to lower back, buttocks, pelvic organs and the legs thereby relating to the healing from constipation, diarrhea, back-ache and conditions of the legs amongst many others.
This understanding significantly influenced the development of a new massage system. Drawing upon my extensive experience and knowledge in diverse massage systems and complementary therapies, Dr. Cyril Antony has integrated these insights into the creation of this innovative massage technique.
