‘Bagman’, the dark Hollywood horror movie directed by Colm McCarthy, is now being screened in theatres in Sri Lanka.
This dark American movie depicts a father who faces a childhood threat that resurfaces. He battles his deepest fear, not for himself, but to protect his family from the danger.
When this sinister threat from his childhood returns to haunt him, Patrick McKee (played by Sam Claflin) desperately struggles against his deepest inner fear. Only this time, the fight isn’t for himself, but for his family.
In ‘Bagman’, a family finds themselves ensnared in a nightmare as they are hunted by a malevolent, mythical creature. For centuries and across cultures, parents have warned their children of the legendary Bagman, who snatches innocent children and stuffs them into his vile, rotting bag, never to be seen again. Patrick McKee narrowly escaped such an encounter as a boy, which left him with lasting scars throughout his adulthood. Now, Patrick’s childhood tormentor has returned, threatening the safety of his wife Karina (Antonia Thomas) and son Jake (Caréll Rhoden).
‘Bagman’ is now shown at Colombo City Center, SCOPE cinema, Havelock City Mall, Liberty by SCOPE Colombo, Liberty by SCOPE Kiribathgoda, Kandy City Centre and several other theatres. The film is imported by Liberty Cinemas Ltd.
