The National Scout Service and Relationship Month organized by the Sri Lanka Scout Association was launched on July 1, 2023 at the Pedro Scout Camp in Nuwara Eliya under the patronage of  Sagala Ratnayake, Chief of Staff to President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Chief Scout. 

Chief Commissioner Attorney at Law Janaprith Fernando invited Sagala Ratnayake to launch the National Scout Service and Relationship Month is being held from  July 1 to 31. The Chief Guest observed the scouts from Nuwara Eliya engaging in the work and made the first contribution.  

Major Gen. Suresh Sallay and representatives of sponsors of Job Cards Reckitt Benckiser Lanka Ltd., Kenneth Saluwadana, Area Sales Manager and R. Kuganeswaran, Field Sales Executive were present on the occasion. Ms. Disna, Assistant District Commissioner - Administration represented the Nuwara Eliya District.
