Sri Lankan CEO Iranthi Gomes raises USD 2.4 Mn (almost LKR 500 Mn) for the Finnish-based startup to expand into new markets and introduce new technologies to their product range.
Iranthi has big plans for Sri Lanka, which include reaching new Asian markets through Sri Lanka and hiring more people to various positions.
How is Serviceform spending USD 2.4 Mn ?
This new round of funding will be used for three things including expansion to new markets in Sweden and Central EU, scaling up Serviceform’s operations in Sri Lanka, and developing new products to satisfy and exceed clients’ expectations.

For Sri Lanka, Serviceform is looking to hire across different departments such as Customer Success, Customer Support, Software Development, and Design. Through Sri Lanka, the company is also aiming to expand to the Asian market. Across Finland, Spain, and Sri Lanka, Serviceform plans to strengthen the current team from 30 to 100 to serve existing and new clients even better.

"We want to help all businesses - especially underserved companies, who don’t have access to essential technologies - to digitalize their businesses,”  said Iranthi Gomes, CEO, and Founder of Serviceform"

“I’m very thrilled to partner with BackingMinds to take Serviceform to the next level. All SaaS products require you to have a certain amount of experience in finding the right solution and setting it up. It can be quite frustrating and time-consuming. We want to help all businesses - especially underserved companies, who don’t have access to essential technologies - to digitalize their businesses,”  said Iranthi Gomes, CEO, and Founder of Serviceform.

The funding round was led by BackingMinds, a Swedish Venture Capital fund. On the investment, Sara Resvik - CEO and Partner of BackingMinds said, “What we find very interesting with Serviceform is that they have found a niche, traditional companies that are still underserved digitally. These companies struggle to find simple digital tools to grow their businesses. With Serviceform, they can triple the number of leads very shortly. Serviceform has a super sticky product with fantastic customer satisfaction.”
In addition, VC Gorilla Capital of Finland, who has been their mentor and strong support system since day 1 - extended their investment!

"Serviceform founded in 2018 by Sri Lankan CEO Iranthi Gomes and Finnish CTO Jarkko Oksanen, helps businesses solve the most common problems with digital marketing, lead generation, customer management, and customer support"

“Gorilla Capital has been a Serviceform investor since 2018, so we have had a 1st-row seat to monitor their development and progress. They have been one of the steadiest growth stories in our portfolio, and now they are ready to move to the next level. We are very excited to see them start the next chapter on their journey,” explained Risto Rautakorpi, Managing Partner at Gorilla Capital.
Serviceform was founded in 2018 by Sri Lankan CEO Iranthi Gomes and Finnish CTO Jarkko Oksanen. While running a cool coffee business in Australia, Iranthi and Jarkko noticed a severe lack of business software that is made for non-tech-savvy professionals.

Serviceform helps businesses solve the most common problems with digital marketing, lead generation, customer management, and customer support with products such as chatbots, live chats, conversational landing pages, engagement bots, dynamic forms, smart popups, CRM, GDPR cookie controller, and soon-to-be-launched Social inbox and SMS and email campaign builder in one platform.
Their products are used on more than 1500 websites and by businesses in nine different countries from Asia to Europe to North America.
