11 Indian fishermen who are repeat offenders sentenced to two years



Twelve more Indian fishermen were arrested and remanded until November 20, 2024 by the Point Pedro Magistrate Court recently, an informed source said.
Among them, two fishermen were injured. The Magistrate has ordered the Prison Superintendent to admit the injured fishermen to hospital, the source said.  
Additionally, cases involving 15 Indian fishermen were heard at the Kayts Magistrate Court recently.   
Among them, 11 fishermen were repeat offenders and were sentenced to two years imprisonment, while four fishermen were released.
