Complaint against those demolished Rajasabha Mandapa

Samagi Tharuna Balawegaya, the youth wing of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), lodged a complaint with the Police Headquarters against the demolition of Buwanekaba Rajasabha Mandapa in Kurunegala. An environmental fair jointly organised by the Sri Jayawardenapura Municipal Council Health Division and the Waste Management Authority with the objective of eradicating the dengue epidemic was held at Nugegoda Kattiya Junction on Sunday. Another leopard trapped in snare dies

A seven-year old female leopard trapped in a snare died at Mapakanda in Nawalapitiya today (20), the wildlife officials of Nallathanniya said. Wildlife Officer Prabhash Karunathilake said the Nawalapitiya Magistrate’s Court has been informed of the incident.
