A group of 48 Buddhist monks arrived from Bhutan on the request of King of Bhutan to invoke blessings on Sri Lankans, the new government and seeking protection from the new coronavirus. A steam locomotive was operated between Colombo Fort and Demodara Railway Stations yesterday. 38 foreigners from twelve countries participated in the journey.
