Justice Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe claimed that he would initiate a programme that would revive the country, hours after being put forward as the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) candidate for the impending Presidential elections by former President Maithripala Sirisena.
Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa today criticized SJB leader Sajith Premadasa and NPP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake, stating that when they were invited to lead the country following the aragalaya, they both refused, fearing their future in politics.
Claiming that proper organizational power and law abiding society were needed to develop the country, the National People’s Power (NPP) leader Anura kumara Dissanayake said only the NPP has the best organizational power and discipline to develop this country.
