Antidote for virus infections introduced by Pussella Ayurvedic Hospital

Pussella Ayurvedic hospital of the Sabaragamuwa Province’s Department of Ayurveda has developed an antidote that could be used effectively in the treatment of virus infections. Provincial Commissioner of Ayurveda Douglas Pathirage said the drug would be an effective cure for all kinds of virus infections and fever.   

He handed over a stock of the drug to Governor Tikiri Kobbekaduwa at the governor’s office in Ratnapura yesterday. Several senior officials of the Department of Ayurveda from the Pussella hospital were present at the occasion.
