Arisen Ahubudu commemoration

A great scholar, poet, linguist, composer and patriot the Late Kalasuri Arisen Ahubudu will be commemorated for the 13th year at 3.00 on November 21 at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute in Colombo 07.

The keynote address of the ceremony will be delivered by Consultant Cardiologist Dr. Ruwan Ekanayaka.   

The award of prizes and certificates to the winners of the Poetry Competition for schoolchildren in the Western Province Schools organized by the Arisen Ahubudu Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Education will take place during the ceremony.   

Another significant feature of the ceremony is the presentation of the new print of “Lanka Nam Gam Wahara” that enlightens on the origin and the usage of names of villages in Sri Lanka.
