Che Guevara commemorated

A prominent personality in the Cuban revolution, the late Ernesto Che Guevara was commemorated today in front of the Mahogany tree in Moragahahena Yahalakele Estate planted by him during his visit to the rubber plantation 61 years ago.

The 53rd year of commemoration of the Cuban Leader who passed away on October 9, 1967,   had been organised by the Socialist Youth League, an affiliate of the JVP. The Ambassador and other guests paid floral tributes to the 
late leader.
