Colombo District Excise gets new Office complex

Excise Department’s Colombo District Office went into new premises yesterday, which was ceremoniously opened by its Commissioner General Ariyadasa Bodaragama yesterday.   

The premises will house the offices of Assistant Commissioner of Excise (Western Province I), Superintendent of Excise (Colombo City I) and Superintendent of Excise (Colombo City II).   

Excise Spokesman Deputy Commissioner Kapila Kumarasinghe said the new complex at No.65, Pagoda Road in Nugegoda will be opened to the public from today onwards.   

Assistant Excise Commissioner (Western Province I) Shanthadeva de Silva, Superintendents Colombo City I and II respectively Shyaman Ratnayake and W D L Padmasiri as well as many other officials took part at the event.
