Commemoration of Lt.General Denzil Kobbekaduwa

The commemoration of the 28th death anniversary of the late Lt.Gen. Denzil Kobbekaduwa was held on Saturday (08) at the Kudagonaduwa Uttala Chethiyarama temple in Panaduara with the distinguished participation of Mrs. Lilly Kobbekaduwa and Governor Sabaragamuwa Province Tikiri Kobbekaduwa. An alms giving was held in commemoration of the late hero.   Although the commemoration had been held every year at the Thanthirimale temple it was held this year in Panadura due to the Covid -19 pandemic. The Maha Sangha including the Ven.Gonaduwe Anomadassi, Poregedara Sumanawansa, Ven.Galthude Pagngnakiththi and Ven. Kanduruwe Sugathawansa Theras were present at the occasion.
