Cop arrested for suspected narcotics dealing

A Police Constable attached to the Ipalogama Police was arrested on suspicion of dealing in narcotics.   

Police said the suspect Police Constable had in his possession a stock of  the illegal intoxicant called ICE. Investigations revealed that he was a  drug addict himself and that he had dubious transactions with drug  addicts through WhatsApp.   

A senior police official in Ipalogama Police said the  suspect PC was produced before Kekirawa Magistrate and detained for  further questioning, He said the PC was interdicted by Anuradhapura SSP.
