Eheliyagoda landslide razes eight houses to the ground

 At least eight houses had been razed down to the ground by a massive landslide at Getahetta in Uduwana in Eheliyagoda last afternoon.   
Eheliyagoda Divisional Secretary S. A. Dilruk said the area had developed signs of imminent danger of a landslide since yesterday morning and that steps were taken to evacuate 43 families from the area and provide them shelter and urgent relief at Udawana Siddhartha Vidyalaya.
