Female university student arrested with ganja on Kandy Perahera route

A young woman, allegedly an undergraduate of a state university, who entered the Kandy Perahera route was arrested for having in her possession a stock of ganja.   

A WPC on duty in the Perahera route had searched the young woman on suspicion to find the packet of four grams of ganja.   

She was handed over to the Anti-Vice Branch of the Kandy Police for further action.
