Governor of Central Bank and Cabraal holds discussion with Acting Chinese Ambassador

Acting Ambassador for China Hu Wei met with State Minister of Money and Capital Markets and State Enterprise Reforms Ajith Nivard Cabraal and Governor of Central Bank Professor W. D. Lakshman at the Finance Ministry and held talks regarding the next step to be taken in view of the financial instruments to be implemented as identified at the recent high-level talks between Yang Jiechi, the Politburo Member and Director of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission of the Chinese Communist Party, and President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa. State Ministry Secretary R.M.A.Ratnayake and Central Bank Assistant Governor Dammika Nanayakkara also participated at the discussion, while the Chief of the Political wing Luo Chong and Third Secretary Shi Xiaoru of the Embassy of China accompanied the Ambassador.
