Hambantota District Former Parliamentarian Chamal Rajapaksa said on Saturday (2) they suspect the possibility of a dictatorship similar to that of Hitler would come up in Sri Lanka soon.

Addressing a gathering in Hambantota to support the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna candidates for the district. He said that Hitler who came to power democratically turned a dictator. He pointed out that the statements of some individuals that trade unions would be dissolved and that they would not give up power was suspicious. “The SLPP has handed over the baton to a group of young men and women to carry on and it was the duty of the people to march forward with them”  He further said.
