Keheliya says he would re-enter politics after his acquittal from the immunoglobulin case

Former Minister of Health Keheliya Rambukwella who had been granted bail after being remanded for nearly nine months over the alleged importation of substandard human immunoglobulin vials said he would temporarily keep away from politics.   

Addressing a meeting at a hotel in Getambe in Kandy organized by his supporters he said he would re-enter active politics after acquittal from the allegations.   

He said he has absolute trust in the court and that it would mete out justice to him regarding the allegations against him.   

Rambukwella and two other suspects, implicated in the alleged importation of substandard human immunoglobulin vials, was arrested on February 2 and was released on bail on September 11 by the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court.
