Remains of Buwelikada disaster victims brought home

The hearse carrying the remains of Chamila Prasad, Achala Ekanayaka and their first-born, Onela Ekanayaka, entered their house in Buwelikada, bringing tears to everyone present.   
The coffin carrying the remains of Achala Ekanayaka was sealed and next to her coffin was her wedding photograph. Seeing the baby’s remains placed among roses next to her parents, caused many people to wail.  

Everyone who came to pay their last respects wished that no such tragic event should ever occur to anyone. Friends and colleagues who grieved for the loss of the young couple had come to pay their last respects.  

Everyone’s wish was that such an untimely death should never occur to them again in future births.
