Rs.20 million worth Kerala ganja recovered in Silavathurai Coast

Personnel attached to the  Silawathurai 3rd Commando Unit had recovered 110 kilos of Kerala Ganja worth Rs. 20 million yesterday on the Silawathurai coast in Mannar.  

The  stock of ganja was discovered hidden within the seas around the camp by the  Commandos of  the 54th Battalion stationed in Mannar, during an operation conducted in the seas around the Camp of the unit.  The officers of the Commando unit said that they were suspicious that the stock of ganja must have been smuggled from India by sea and later had been hidden in the area.  

The Officers said that they handed over the stock of the Kerala Ganja recovered over to the Silawathurai Police for further investigations.
