A&E Lanka, part of one of the world’s leading thread solutions provider, won the ‘Best work place safety innovation award’ at the South Asian Partnership Summit & Business Awards (SAPS) hosted by the World HRD Congress and endorsed by Asian Confederation of Businesses and a bronze award at the National Occupational Safety & Health Excellence (NOSHE), held on 13th and 14th of this Month respectively.
NOSHE held once in two years is a prestigious national award considered to have a rigorous, stringent audit process and is an initiative by the National Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH), Ministry of Labour & Trade Union Relations together with the Department of Labour. Likewise SAPS recognized and awarded outstanding organizations and leaders in the region with a goal to provide a forum to establish standards of excellence for quality development and this event was attended by many senior business leaders and officials.

A&E Lanka has implemented a safety software developed by in-house IT personnel. A first of its kind which was highly recognized by the whole group, the software allows hazard observation and monitor many safety related details. It is presently being upgraded to be used as a global A&E safety software. Similarly, the Safety Observation & Caching (SOC) is a six-minute process used by A&E worldwide to change the behaviors of their employees enormously towards safe working culture.
