The Browns General Trading Division (Browns GTD) was presented with the ‘Most Innovative Stall’ accolade at the recently held ‘Construct 2016 Awards Night’ at Waters Edge.

The annually held Construct Exhibition is organised by the National Construction Association of Sri Lanka (NCASL), a leading organisation of the construction industry committed to the development of the industry in Sri Lanka.

The Construct Exhibition is Sri Lanka’s largest and most reputed event related to the construction industry, that brings together builders, architects, engineers, contractors, developers, designers, surveyors and others under one roof.

Browns GTD showcased a multitude of products and brands including Sri Lanka’s leading power tool brand Makita at the exhibition. The company also displayed its wide range of tools, accessories and engineering equipment in a compact, yet attractive setting.

The other brands that were displayed were – Makita MT, Eclipse, Tailin, Hyundai, Firman, Carborandum, JK, Tekiro, etc.

Competing and striving for this award was no easy feat for Browns GTD as they had to play head-to-head against the heavy weights of the power tool and accessory industry, as well as multiple international brands with strong local partners.
