‘Daraz Drone Show’, the first-ever drone light show in Sri Lanka, illuminated the Colombo night sky with over 150 drones on January 22 and 23 at Galle Face Green.

The drone light show was held in celebration of Daraz’s global re-branding.

Followed by an evening of music, food, and entertainment, the event saw the presence of over 10,000 people from across the island to witness the spectacular choreography that revealed the new Daraz logo to the public.The drone show was launched by Minister of Youth and Sports  Namal Rajapaksa and attended by State Minister of Aviation and Export Zones Development D.V. Chanaka,  Director General of Civil Aviation Capt. Themiya Abeywickrama ,  Director of Aircraft Operations Civil Aviation Authority Fernando and the media. 

Daraz hosted the event in partnership with Dubai-based double Guinness World Record holder, SKD International.
