HNB Finance PLC recently donated books and equipment including a computer and an in-school library to the students of Wadinagala College, Ampara under its programme that uplifts rural education.  

HNB Finance says it remains committed to its mission of empowering the community through CSR initiatives that advance education, health, hygiene, housing and livelihood development in the nation. 

“HNB Finance has taken great initiatives over the years to empower communities in need of support. We are pleased to announce the launch of another impactful project in the Ampara district, where we offer a series of programmes to enhance the education infrastructure of underprivileged rural schools,” said HNB Finance CEO and MD Chaminda Prabhath.

In the recent past, steps had been actively taken to do the best even during the Covid-19 pandemic to strengthen the community as it is the social responsibility of the entity, added Prabhath.
