Huawei’s first flagship standalone monitor MateView to be launched soon in Sri Lanka



 

Huawei, the global smartphone brand, marks its entrance to the flagship monitor segment with the launch of Huawei MateView, Huawei’s first-ever flagship standalone monitor. 


The all-new Huawei MateView is an embodiment of the brand’s spirit of innovation that propelled it to great heights in the technology space. This wireless, real colour monitor has a minimalist design to it that attracts every user at first glance. The 4K+ Ultra HD display, cinema level colour gamut, wireless projection, innovative design and Smart Bar are few of the major discernible features of Huawei MateView. 


Huawei MateView features a 28.2-inch 3:2 panel that supports a native resolution of 3840 × 2560, delivering a premium viewing experience inclusive of minute details. Its low bezel design is on par with modish designs and offers a larger viewing area. The monitor is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified, enabling the user to easily discern details hidden in the darker areas on a displayed image. 


With 98 percent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and 100 percent of the sRGB colour gamut, Huawei MateView brings incredible breadth of colours to life while its Blue Light and Flicker Free features effectively filter harmful emissions to minimise eye discomfort at all levels.  


Huawei MateView supports both wired and wireless connections offering maximum flexibility to the user. The user can also connect the smartphone, notebook or tablet while the smartphone OneHop projection option enables the user to initiate the desktop mode wirelessly. It helps to gain the ultimate productivity experience from the smartphone by mirroring it on a large screen. 


The sleek monitor packs a range of ports including two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports one HDMI port, one Mini DisplayPort and one 3.5mm audio jack. These ports are conveniently located to the side and back of the stand for ease of access. 


Controlling the monitor and its settings is made easier with the all-new Smart Bar that offers an intuitive interface. The smart bar can also be used to instantly switch between display inputs such as switching from a mirrored laptop display to smartphone’s display.


The mainboard of the monitor is separated from the panel by design, allowing the user to adjust the height and tilt to suit the needs. The MateView also comes with two high-powered in-built speakers embedded to the stand to deliver superior sound quality and two microphones with noise reduction algorithms.


The all-new Huawei MateView will soon be available to purchase from islandwide Huawei experience centres, Singer showrooms, Daraz.lk and Singer.lk.
