Staff members of People’s Bank hosted Bathi  Gee for the eleventh time on Poson Poya. The event was held adjacent to the Ruwanveli Maha Seya in Anuradhapura. 

The five groups singing Bathi Gee comprised of members in branches situated in the North Central, Central, Uva Regions as well as members of the People’s Bank Arts Circle and singers of Tamil language Bodhu Gee. The music was directed and composed by renowned musician Karunaratne Wijewardena.

The Bathi Gee was held under the patronage of Ven. Pallegama HemarathneThero – Chief Incumbent, Ruwanveli Maha Seya whilst Hemasiri Fernando – Chairman, People’s Bank, N. Vasantha Kumar -CEO/ General Manager, People’s Bank and senior members of the management and staff graced the event.
