Sling Mobility offers numerous other features such as, full responsibility for delivery vehicles, handling drivers, cash and collection, providing riders and transport at a comparatively low cost and detailed analytics to aid decision-making. Similarly, there is ample financial flexibility for independent couriers and individual riders. It is cheaper to own and run, hassle free to operate than a regular delivery motorbike, with low upfront acquisition cost, low overall running cost and easy access to recharging battery through a swapping mechanism, which is a first for Sri Lanka.

The concept of Sling Mobility has been designed to offer a wide range of concessions for independent delivery riders on leasing and rentals. 

The scooters are provided at a cheap 12 month daily rental model with the rider owning the bike at the end of 12 months with an opportunity to obtain batteries on lease. Battery swapping and recharging access points set up across the area of operation saves time for the riders. Other facilities include roadside assistance, real time range estimation, customized vehicle, user profile data and door step maintenance. The cloud connected nature of these vehicles help in pre-emptive diagnostics. These vehicles come with MFF 2 Sims, a first for Sri Lanka where the tracking and cloud connectivity of the vehicles will happen from the vehicle itself instead of the rider’s phone.

On risk management, Sling Mobility offers multiple features such as, GPS positioning for the battery and motor, remote locking, vehicle intelligence on user safety and system failures, credit points and third party risk assessment and offline merchant triple insurance.
