Spa Ceylon enters GCC region with Jeddah outlet



  • GCC presence to be expanded to UAE, Oman, and Kuwait
  • Plans afoot to enter 25 new locations in FY22/23

Spa Ceylon Ayurveda Wellness commenced their strategic entry to the highly lucrative wellness and beauty markets in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region by opening its first outlet at the Mall of Arabia in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).


The world’s largest luxury Ayurveda chain will expand its footprint in the Middle East by opening  stores in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Muscat, Oman, and Kuwait.

“We have combined Luxury Ayurveda with the romance of old Ceylon and vintage Middle Eastern design elements, to roll out an exclusive Eid Celebration themed Festive Gift collection to this market, to be followed by premium fragrances and unique wellness formulae designed specifically to appeal to this consumer,”he added.
Spa Ceylon Co-Founder Shalin Balasuriya expressed confidence in Spa Ceylon making it big in the Middle East due to its unique offering.

Spa Ceylon aims to expand its global presence in FY22/23 with 25 new locations, to reach an expanded 150 store footprint in more than 25 countries across 5 continents. 


The brand is planning to open several new markets in Europe, including Spain, Lithuania, Norway, Sweden & the Netherlands; while further new store openings are also on the cards, including London, England, Lisbon, Portugal, Johannesburg, South Africa, Taipei, Taiwan and across Sri Lanka.
