Chiran Wiejsinghe has been appointed as a non-executive independent director of Sathosa Motors PLC, the local agents for Isuzu vehicles and a unit of Sri Lanka’s Access group.

The appointment is effective from July 15, 2015.

Wijesinghe, who has over 7 years experience in senior management positions, currently serves as Chief Risk Officer at Hirdaramani Group of Companies.
He previously served as Manager, Risk Advisory Services of KPMG For Rhodes Thornton & Company, Group Internal Auditor of Oman Hotels and Tourism Co.SAGO (OHTC) managed by Aitken Spence Hotels (PVt) Ltd.

Wijesinghe obtained his MBA from University of Southern Queensland and his BSc. in Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
He is an Associate member of Institute of Charted Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) and a member of The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) USA.
