DFCC Vardhana Bank expands its operations in Ibbagamuwa, with the opening of its new branch



 

DFCC Vardhana Bank (DVB), Sri Lanka’s fastest growing commercial bank, recently expanded its network by opening a new DVB office in Ibbagamuwa, Kurunegala. The ceremonial opening of DVB’s new office took place on Monday 22 December and was attended by Kurunegala District Parliment MP, Minister of Indigenous Medicine Hon. Salinda Dissanayake, Mr. Lakshman Silva, Chief Executive Officer, DFCC Vardhana Bank, along with DVB’s senior management and staff. 

 

 

The new DVB office is located at No. 127, Dambulla Road, Dehelgamuwa, Ibbagamuwa and will provide quick and efficient commercial banking services to all business and retail customers in the area. DVB was present in Ibbagamuwa with a service centre operated in the Post Office premises with limited banking services. The new branch will now operate as a fully-fledged Bank branch in Ibbagamuwa and will offer an array of services such as savings and current accounts, personal loans, housing loans, education loans, vehicle leasing, gold jewellery pawning loans and business loans. The bank will also provide LCs, foreign currency products such as NRFC, RFC and NNRFC and money transferring options via Western Union. In the near future customers will also be able to use DVB’s Lanka Money Transfer service, which was recently launched to provide Sri Lankan migrants & their families with a safe and reliable remittance option.  DVB also offers the latest technologies with online banking services, a 24/7 call centre and access to over 500 ATMs through its own and partner ATM networks which allow unlimited withdrawals at zero cost.
