Galle Face Hotel amidst extensive restoration of the landmark building will open doors to a new meetings and conference centre on July 1st 2014. Situated on the first floor of Galle Face Hotel, the latest facility will add a new dimension to the Galle Face Hotel’s unique history and traditional hospitality offering that echoes across the hotel. The new center will comprise of seven conference rooms, a library and two study rooms. The hotel’s ability to accommodate one large group or several small groups simultaneously offers planners exceptional space versatility and functionality.

As we complete milestones on the restoration project we will bring a series of new products to the market. The first of these products is “meet…discuss...succeed”. We have re-defined a purpose built meetings, seminar, conference center and boardrooms dedicated to small to medium events focused on facilitating great outcomes. This product has been developed to meet the need for a ‘business’ focused facility. Some of the unique services included in the “‘meet…discuss...succeed” product include an energy booster on arrival, coffee breaks at “The Café”, a contemporary private coffee shop serving quick treats and gourmet coffee, teas and drinks in an informal lounge setting – ideal for networking and recharging, gourmet lunch at one of the legendary restaurants, ergonomic high back conference chairs and uniquely designed working desks, state-of-the-art equipment including multimedia projection, built-in sound system, wireless clip-on mics, and free Wi-Fi, in room refreshments with espresso coffee machine throughout the meeting and a dedicated ‘conference concierge’ assigned to each meeting
