oDoc makes record progress in 1H of 2021



 

oDoc, Sri Lanka’s largest digital health company, has revolutionised the industry by its innovative range of premium digital healthcare offerings targeted towards individuals and corporates around the country. 


With the uncontrollable surge of COVID-19 cases across Sri Lanka, virtual doctor channelling has  become increasingly popular and practical, leading to an exponential rise in the number of people using oDoc. The range of services include video consulting a doctor, home delivery of medications as well as at-home lab testing. 


oDoc has seen impressive growth in 1H 2021, with a 70 percent increase in the number of consultations and a 149 percent increase in new users on the app. oDoc’s mobile pharmacy, oPharma, has seen significant traction as consumers opted to avoid visits to local pharmacies, with a remarkable 3x increase in revenue. oDoc’s mobile lab unit has been widely appreciated during these times leading to a 106 percent increase in revenue. 


Furthermore, oDoc has partnered with nine more corporates this month, including Standard Chartered Bank, Lalan Group, Brandix and Accenture, to provide healthcare services to their employees. Employees will have unlimited access to GPs and specialist doctors without ever having to leave their home or the office. They will also be part of oDoc’s exclusive loyalty programme, where they can enjoy a host of benefits from hospitals, fitness partners such as Barressential and Athletes Unleashed and healthy meal options, such as Health House, Fitmeals and Cafe Kumbuk.
