The architectures have done their best to make Raja Bojun an energy saving restaurant during the day time,  with lots  of filtered sun light coming in and  yet with no interference  to the guests sitting comfortably in the air conditioned restaurant area. It also has an open air waiting area for the guests.

The buffet at the lunch at Raja Bojun starts from the salad corner then extends towards three types of rice  for the main meal and they include fried rice, steamed and country rice. The main curries include fish, crab and chicken with 15 types of vegetable curries with a grill station, a hopper station, as well as 10 to 12 desserts with tea and coffee at the end meal. Besides, there exists a mouth watering range of pickles that include malay and lemon pickles as well.  The juicy corner at the restaurant has several different kinds of fresh juices including the special treat of king coconut not to be found at many a star class hotel in town.

The dinner with a slight change to the main course adds a variety of night time delicacies that include Kotthu Rotti, Pol Rotti, string hoppers, Pittu and Macaroni with 10 vegetable items  and the  tasty hot prawns curry in addition to the hot chicken, fish and crab. The dinner time entertainment also includes the playing of soothing music by a violinist, a pianist or a saxophonist every day.

“At Raja Bojun, children under 12 years of age always get their buffet free when dining with their parents. Our objective here, is to promote truly authentic and unique Sri Lankan food which are full of taste as well as nutritional and health value amongst the children  to make a healthy generation for the country in the future.  We see it a worthy cause to create a Sri Lankan food loving young generation soon, through food – life concepts at  Raja Bojun.  And especially for children, we of course have a number of mild curries, bread and butter as well as the grill and hopper station. All this is free of charge for them whilst dining with parents,” says Mishantha.

The main dining area at the roof top can cater to 150 guests who can comfortably enjoy meals with a feeling of outside dining in stress free fresh and natural environs. All buffet counters remind of our traditional countryside roofing sheltered with ‘Iluk’.  Pleasing clients can also make the main dining area an exclusively dedicated venture for weddings and parties with an exclusively different array of menus of food and beverage of their taste. Besides, the main restaurant area there is a separate dining facility exclusively designed for about 80 packs and is ideal for small conferences, cooperate meetings, birthday parties and family gatherings.  The special package here includes free hall area for eight hours subject to dining at the buffet, three snacks with soft drink at 10.00 in the morning, and tea with a piece of cake in the evening. It is a net package  of 1900LKR per head for a minimum of 25 packs.
